About the Event
On December 13th, 2025, ACM BPDC conducted the Agentic AI Workshop, an interactive online session aimed at introducing participants to the foundations and practical applications of AI-driven automation.
The workshop focused on helping students understand how agentic AI systems operate — from interpreting natural language to making autonomous decisions. Participants learned how AI models can extract meaningful information such as names, messages, and key details from unstructured text, enabling smarter automation workflows.
A major highlight of the session was the hands-on demonstration of automating WhatsApp Web using Selenium, where participants explored how AI agents can interact with real-world platforms. The workshop concluded with the development of a Python-based AI agent capable of automating messaging tasks, showcasing how theoretical AI concepts translate into practical, deployable solutions.
Designed to be beginner-friendly yet impactful, the Agentic AI Workshop encouraged participants to think beyond traditional scripts and explore intelligent, adaptive automation. The event reinforced ACM BPDC’s commitment to delivering industry-relevant learning experiences and equipping students with skills aligned with the future of artificial intelligence and automation.
