About the Event
From 1st to 3rd October, ACM BPDC will host an innovative and unconventional hackathon titled “What The Hack.” Inspired by the playful chaos of Rick and Morty, this event invites participants to bring their wildest ideas to life through an engaging mix of workshops, online collaboration, and offline building sessions. Designed to break the mold of traditional hackathons, “What The Hack” blends creativity, speed, and experimentation into a unique experience for students across campus.
The journey begins on 1st October with an introductory workshop and theme release at G34, followed by online vibing on 2nd October, where teams brainstorm, plan, and refine their concepts in a relaxed digital space. The hackathon culminates on 3rd October with an offline vibing session at the Auditorium, featuring live registrations from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and project judging from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Participants will compete for exciting prizes, including AED 100 and AED 50 for ACM members and AED 49.25 and AED 24.75 for non-members, with special mentions receiving exclusive Labubus goodies. With its quirky theme, accessible format, and rewarding structure, “What The Hack” exemplifies ACM BPDC’s commitment to fostering innovation, teamwork, and a vibrant student community through creative, high-energy experiences.
