Mouseless X Keyboardless

ACM BPDC will host an innovative puzzle-based competition titled Mouseless × Keyboardless, scheduled to take place on September 3rd, 2025 (tentative) in Room 333.

The event challenges participants to adapt to unique digital constraints across two distinct rounds: the Mouseless Round, where participants must solve tasks without using a mouse, and the Keyboardless Round, where typing is forbidden. Each round includes a mix of easy, medium, hard, and one “impossible”-tier challenge, designed to test both technical skills and creative problem-solving under pressure.

The Mouseless Round serves as the main segment, worth 135 points, requiring navigation and exploration entirely through keyboard shortcuts and logic. The Keyboardless Round, worth 65 points, flips the rules and pushes participants to solve encrypted audio, hidden codes, pixelated visuals, and unconventional puzzles without typing. Together, the two rounds total 200 points, blending resourcefulness, technical mastery, and quick thinking.

Winners will be decided based on total points scored, with completion time acting as the tie-breaker. One winner will be declared from each round, and each will receive a cash prize of AED 50 along with a feature on ACM BPDC’s official social media page. Mini donuts will also be provided to keep participants energized throughout the event.

By stripping away the tools participants depend on most, Mouseless × Keyboardless transforms familiar interactions into a playground of cryptic challenges. With puzzles curated by ACM BPDC executives and managers to ensure both balance and unpredictability, the event promises a fresh and mind-bending experience that pushes participants to rethink how they engage with technology.
