About the Event
From October 11th to 12th, 2025, ACM BPDC hosted Finspire 1.0, its first-ever inter-university FinTech-focused hackathon designed to bridge finance and technology through innovation and collaboration.
Over two days, participants explored real-world challenges in the financial technology landscape, working in teams to develop creative, data-driven, and impactful solutions. The hackathon encouraged participants to think critically, apply technical and analytical skills, and present implementable ideas that align with the future of financial systems.
The event featured a structured agenda, beginning with ideation and mentorship sessions, followed by intense rounds of design and development. Participants received guidance from mentors and experts, culminating in final presentations before a distinguished judging panel.
With a focus on the theme “Invest. Impact. Innovate.”, Finspire 1.0 served as a platform for aspiring innovators to demonstrate their technical acumen and strategic thinking, while fostering collaboration across disciplines.
Building upon ACM BPDC’s tradition of impactful technical events, Finspire 1.0 marked a new chapter in promoting interdisciplinary innovation — merging the precision of technology with the dynamism of finance.
