About the Event
ACM BPDC will be hosting its official Orientation Session on September 18th, 2025, from 12:00–1:00 PM in the TP Room. The session is an opportunity for students to learn more about ACM, meet the council, and get a first look at the events and initiatives planned for the semester.
The Orientation is designed to introduce students to the ACM community at BPDC—a chapter that brings together workshops, competitions, speaker sessions, and community-driven activities to encourage both technical learning and collaboration. It will also highlight how students, regardless of their background in computing, can actively participate and benefit from being part of a global network.
In addition to sharing the roadmap for the semester, the event will feature a chance to connect with fellow students over free pizza and conclude with the live announcement of the raffle draw winners. Beyond the introductions and announcements, the Orientation aims to create a welcoming space where new and returning members feel encouraged to engage, contribute, and grow within the ACM community.
By the end of the session, students will not only know what to expect in the coming months but also gain a clear sense of how ACM can enrich their campus experience.
