ACM Meccha Campus

ACM BPDC hosted Meccha Campus, an online hide and seek game that ran from October 6 at 10 AM to October 7 at 10 PM. The event tasked students with creating customized digital characters, known as extraordinary suspects, and camouflaging them within 360 degree virtual photos of university locations. Players accessed the game through their phone or laptop browsers. The gameplay featured an untimed hiding phase followed by 10 minute hunting rounds. Participants used virtual paint blasters to find hidden characters, allowing unlimited correct hits but capping mistakes at three wrong shots per hunt. New hunts unlocked every 90 minutes. The top players competed for a total prize pool of about 125 AED.

Open to all students, the virtual hunt was complemented by a lively physical hub near the campus vending machines, where the ACM team recruited new members and chatted with players. Supported by event sponsors Sam’s Burger and Aura keeping participants fueled between rounds, ACM BPDC successfully delivered a highly accessible digital experience that brought a creative wave of "mischief" to the campus community.
