ACM BPDC will be hosting its Annual ACM Capture The Flag 2026 from 13th to 15th February 2026. The event will take place online and will challenge participants through a series of cybersecurity and problem-solving tasks designed to test their technical skills, logical thinking, and teamwork.

Capture The Flag is structured as a competitive cybersecurity challenge where participants solve tasks across multiple categories such as cryptography, web security, reverse engineering, and logical problem-solving. Teams consisting of a maximum of two participants must identify hidden flags by analysing clues, decoding information, and overcoming security challenges. Each solved flag contributes to the team’s overall score, allowing them to climb the live leaderboard as the competition progresses.

The event aims to create an engaging and competitive environment where participants can explore practical cybersecurity concepts while sharpening their analytical and collaborative abilities. Participants will be encouraged to think creatively, apply technical knowledge, and adapt to varying levels of difficulty as challenges become progressively more complex.

By the end of the competition, participants will have experienced a dynamic test of strategy, teamwork, and perseverance, while gaining valuable exposure to real-world cybersecurity problem-solving. With a prize pool of AED 500, the event promises to be both an exciting learning opportunity and a rewarding competitive experience.
